Afghanistan Regional Map

SIGAR personnel work throughout Afghanistan. As of December 2011, SIGAR staff were stationed in several locations across the country, including Kabul, Herat, Kandahar Airfield and Bagram Airfield, Camp Leatherneck, and Forward Operating Base Salerno. SIGAR also sends investigators, auditors, and analysts on short-term temporary duty to Afghanistan to oversee various aspects of reconstruction.
