This was an ICCTF investigation, supported by SIGAR. |

Campbell, an Australian national and former senior construction manager for a non-governmental organization in Afghanistan, was sentenced by a U.S. District Court to 22 months in prison for soliciting $190,000 in bribes as payment for steering $15 million in U.S.-funded contracts in Afghanistan. Campbell received an initial $10,000 payment from an undercover officer and was arrested in India while attempting to collect the remaining bribe payments. This ICCTF investigation was conducted by USAID-OIG, FBI, and SIGAR. |

Handa was sentenced by a U.S. District Court to 120 months in prison and required to make restitution of $315,000. He was arrested on April 7, 2011, and pleaded guilty on June 21, 2011, to bribery of a public official and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. SIGAR received the initial information and was significantly involved in this ICCTF investigation. |
